Group F - An open group that should be entretaining

Group F

If you just glance at this group you see Portugal clearly on top and the others will fight it out to be the least bad. With a closer look, though, you see that Austria and Iceland did a fantastic qualification campaign, with a very patient and effective football, the type that is strong against the team of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Hungary is the one team that will likely struggle, but if CR7 is not on form it would not be that surprising to see Portugal in trouble. But surely he sees this as one of the last chances he will have to win a national competition and will try to make it happen.

FIL’S Prediction

1.       Portugal
2.       Iceland
3.       Austria
4.       Hungary

Portugal should confirm their status as seeded team and win the group, as they prepared the team well for this tricky group. Iceland and Austria will have a great battle to get 2nd place, but the Nordics have a much more experienced manager that should make the difference.

Hungary is, possibly, the worst team in the Euro, and it would be very surprising to see them get any win.
