Group C
It’s certain that Germany is the
favorite to top the group, but their qualification was subpar at best, being
beaten by one of their rivals in this Euros, Poland and unable to defeat
Rep.Ireland in both occasions. Not only that, but their friendlies performances
were very negative so they have to show better if they want to avoid a
surprise.
Poland, Ukraine and Northern Ireland are the
other teams, and they should finish in that order, if logic reigns.
FIL’S Prediction
1. Germany
2. Poland
3. Ukraine
4. Nor. Ireland
It was very hard but in the end we had to
weigh not only the present, but all of the experience and will to win that the
Germans are known for, makes us think that they will end up winning the group,
but it won’t be an easy task. Poland already defeated them once and will try to
do the same, as Ukraine is missing a world class striker to dream to do the
same.
Northern Ireland had extremely bad luck with
the draw and will probably have a bad time in France, but they’ll surely enjoy
their summer
